The Alberta Lacrosse Association’s AGM and Development Weekend was a huge success!
The Association extends heartfelt thanks to everyone who participated, and to the Board and Executives for their dedication and commitment in these volunteer roles. Special recognition goes to the staff for organizing a seamless event that will be remembered by all.
The Association is pleased to announce the results of the recent Executive Elections:
Jocelyn Harris was acclaimed as Director of Administration
Tim Stewart was elected as Director of Marketing and Communications
Michael Groves was elected as Director of Development
Sincere thanks are extended to Keith Berg, outgoing Director of Development, for his time, dedication, and commitment to lacrosse. His contributions and accomplishments during his term have been greatly valued and appreciated.
The election process followed the procedures outlined in the Board Executive Elections Policy. Votes were counted and scrutineered by three volunteers to ensure fairness and transparency.The Board also acknowledges concerns raised by members during this process. As this was the first year the policy was actioned, some gaps were identified. The Board recognizes that communication needs to be stronger moving forward and will be reviewing the policy to address these issues.
The Alberta Lacrosse Association thanks all members for their engagement, understanding, and ongoing commitment to the growth of lacrosse in Alberta.
