Daryl Haynes


Haynes is a 5th generation player and coach (rooting back to pre 1890) who brings a wealth of experience to our program. Daryl is a 2 time coach of Team Alberta Field Lacrosse and 3 time coach of Team Ontario Field Lacrosse.

Originally from Ontario, Daryl is a past President of both the Halton Hills and Mississauga minor lacrosse clubs. He also coached in both programs, winning multiple provincial championships with each and 2 national titles with Halton Hills. In addition, Daryl was a coach and Director of Player Development with the recruiting focused EDGE program in Ontario.

Daryl played his Jr A lacrosse for the Brampton Excelsiors. He has also coached Jr A box lacrosse for the Toronto Beaches, Okotoks Raiders and Jr Ladies Saints programs. In addition, Daryl has coached every level of box lacrosse from U7 to Senior.

Haynes has also held administrative roles in lacrosse ranging from the Ontario Lacrosse Association Board of Governors to Lacrosse Canada’s Field Lacrosse Sector Chair. Daryl was also a Vice-President (Technical Development) for the Alberta Lacrosse Association.
